Cebu Landmasters, Inc. (CLI) announced on Friday that it has been building the P4 billion Masters Tower Cebu, which will contain both office and retail spaces as well as the city’s first five-star luxury hotel.

A modest launch on Friday (an online one, for the record) illuminated the skyscraper’s environmental nature and how Cebu’s local artistry influenced its architecture.

This is an emblem because of its thoughtful care. The Cebu Provincial Government aims to link to Cebuanos, not only today but in future generations,” CLI Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Jose Franco B. Soberano said at the launch ceremony.

The Cebu Business Park in Cebu City will acquire a 2,840-square-meter lot for the building of Masters Tower Cebu. The tower would finally be built to a height of 192 meters above sea level, which makes it one of the three tallest structures in the world.

The Sofitel Cebu City will make up two-thirds of the project, and will be located on the 14th to 32nd floors with 195 guest rooms, conference rooms, a ballroom, roof deck, bar, and pool.

A sky lobby with a sky-lit atrium will be located on the 16th floor of the hotel, and will be followed by transparent and functional halls in the atrium that will mimic the presence of sunlight and sky. The roof deck of the Sofitel Cebu hotel can provide a panoramic view of the city.

Additionally, the construction would have sky gardens on every floor of the building, and project developers are hoping to use these gardens for a farm-to-table restaurant.

This office room will be located on floors 8 to 12 of the house.

A groundbreaking ceremony for the project is planned to occur during the second quarter of this year. Construction of the tallest structure in the Philippines, Masters Tower Cebu, is anticipated to be finished in 2025.

In order to fulfill the hopes of the company, the tower would possibly be awarded Excellence in Energy and Environmental Architecture (LEED) Gold Certification.

After conducting a considerable amount of study, we noticed that Cebuano communities possess a particularly established craftsmanship and are well suited to function in the furniture making industry, SOM Project Manager Shilpa Patel reported at the conference.

Citing additional facts to illustrate her argument, she mentioned, “There are a number of things to learn about the past of Cebu, and the history of the Cebuano people,” she concluded.

Centered in the US, the architecture and engineering company Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM) is partnering with Makati-based construction firm GF Partners and architects on the project.

Mr. Soberano talked of the expectation that the city of Cebu will see an increase in tourism.

What sets Masters Tower Apart from the rest of Cebu is that it is of crucial significance to the city as a historic symbol, but its position in the overall economy is just as important. CLI CEO Jose R. Soberano III identified the service’s latest features as the “fire” for the very active tourism industry that the Philippines already has, and he told customers that the service would be situated in the heart of Cebu City.
