The first franchised shop in Dubai has been launched by FOODAND BEVERAGE Kiosk owners, FruitasHoldings,Inc. under the brand House of Desserts.
On Wednesday, the Company said it had its first international kiosk in the Burjuman, a major Dubai shopping center, with items such as fruit shakes, pearl shakes, milk tea, fresh fruit desserts and haloes.
“We look forward to taking Fruitas to Dubai. The Fruitas brand is universal and exportable with its suite of new and balanced goods to many more places beyond the Philippines,” said Lester Yu, President of Fruitas.
In addition, Fruitas announced that as part of its domestic expansion plans, it has sixty new kiosks and neighborhood stores in the pipeline.
“With a recent opening of the first kiosks in Koronadal and the addition of additional kiosks in Butuan and Zamboanga City, Fruitas still reaches more cities in Mindanao,” the statement said.
In the meantime, the Babot’s Farm and Soy & Bean brands are expanding their neighborhood stores to at least 30 by the end of the year, with approximate 100 stores in 2021.
Out of increased combined sales and reduced operating costs, Fruitas decreased its Net Loss to P19 million in the third quarter of 2012.
The business reported that its consolidated sales increased 90% to P167 million compared with the previous period, while its operating costs except depreciation and depreciation declined 56% to P102 million.
Fruits reported a net loss of P32,2 million in the same timeframe between January and September, compared to a net income of P53 million in 2019.
