MACROASIA Corp. has collaborated with Maplecrest Group Inc., the parent corporation of Property Company of Friends (Pro-Friends), on a cooperative water project in Cavite.
In an announcement to the stock exchange on Friday, MacroAsia announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Naic Water Supply Corp., had entered into a joint venture to supply water to communities established by Pro-Friends, such as Lancaster New City, Bellefort Estates, Carmona Estates and other ongoing and potential ventures.
The deal would also require the creation of Pro-Friends in Iloilo, the business added. MacroAsia joined water distribution in 2016 and presently has commercial activities in the provinces of Nueva Vizcaya, Cavite, Bulacan, Albay and Boracay. The organization is also conducting other water schemes in Cebu, Iloilo and Rizal.
“Recently, MacroAsia has completed the design and operation of its Maragondon Plant for its bulk water project in Cavite, which is currently being commissioned,” the study said. Pro-Friends’ Lancaster New City is a 1,700-hectare construction project for the townships of Kawit, Imus and General Trias in Cavite.
“Lancaster New City already has almost 20,000 house and lot units designed and shipped,” the study said.
Other Pro-Friends ventures in Cavite include Bellefort Estates in Bacoor; Carmona Estates in Carmona; and Micara Estates in Tanza. The business also has a plant in Pavia, called Iloilo Monticello Villas.
